NZ Renewables UK
Development of wind farms
NZ Renewables UK (NZ UK) is a visionary project dedicated to developing onshore wind farms to deliver sustainable and accessible renewable energy. With a current portfolio of 12 potential sites representing a total capacity of 750 MW, NZ UK emphasizes a responsible, ethical, and transparent approach to achieving its ambitious objectives.
The project follows a structured, multi-stage process, from site identification and initial evaluation to development, construction, and operation. Its goal is to sell the rights to select sites to finance the construction and operation of two or more wind farms, ensuring both economic and environmental sustainability. Once operational, these wind farms will provide clean energy for over 30 years.
Led by a team of experts, including Hamish Reid, Guy Oxnard, and Gail Seymour, NZ UK combines engineering, governance, and communication expertise to address the challenges of the renewable energy sector. By focusing on community engagement and adhering to principles of transparency, NZ UK aims to contribute to the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and provide clean, affordable energy to millions of households across the UK.
