Occuity

Optical instruments for healthcare monitoring

Occuity develops medical devices to improve the detection and monitoring of a range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, glaucoma, myopia and Alzheimer's disease.

Occuity's measuring devices work by projecting light into the eye and analysing the return signal. This allows optometrists and ophthalmologists to make direct measurements of the eye, but also, and perhaps more importantly, to monitor other more general health problems such as diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.

Occuity's intellectual property includes 9 international patents covering the measurement technique and optical technology that forms the basis of the devices, as well as additional patents relating to alignment and measurement inside the eye.
